The 9th Edition of NIRF ranking is out and Once again the IITs dominated the NIRF Ranking. IIT Madras bagged the No 1 position followed by IISc Bengaluru, IIT Bombay, and several other IIT and non-IIT institutions.
In this ranking, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi was ranked 7 in the overall ranking. It was followed by IIT Roorkee, IIT Guwahati, and Jawaharlal Nehru University.
In the university category, IISc Bengaluru bags the No. 1 position followed by Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. In this category, BHU Varanasi secured 5th rank whereas VIT Vellore received 10th rank.
Regarding engineering category rankings the IIT’s dominate the top 10 positions, with only one Non-IIT (NIT Tiruchirappalli) bagging 9th rank.
In the Management Category, IIM Ahmedabad has secured 1st position followed by IIM Bangalore and Kozhikode while IIT Bombay has got 10th position.
In the pharmacy category, the top spot was awarded to Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi. This was followed by NIPER Hyderabad and Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
Hindu College, New Delhi, they won the No. 1 Position in the college category. They will be pleased because this is the first time they have secured this position. The following are Miranda House and St. Stephen’s College.
In the Law Category National Law School of India, Bengaluru bags 1st position followed by National Law University, Delhi, and NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad.
In the medical category AIIMS, New Delhi has secured No. 1 whereas PGIMER, Chandigarh, and CMC Vellore have 2nd and 3rd positions.
In Architecture and Planning, IIT Roorkee bags the #1 position followed by IIT Kharagpur.
In the Research College Category IISc Bengaluru has secured the No 1 position followed by IIT Madras and Delhi.
